Bio
Derrick is a manager on the Ideaticians team focusing on product and innovation solutions with artificial intelligence. He oversees Armanino’s AI Lab, a consulting resource designed to assist with and accelerate the adoption of AI technology. Derrick partakes in the ideation process of uncovering business process problems and developing solutions for our clients and industries.
After graduating with degrees in chemistry and biochemistry, Derrick worked as an R&D chemist where he focused on improving a number of advanced scientific instruments. After two years in a lab coat, he went on to attain an MBA and a M.S. in electrical engineering where he specialized in control system theory and machine learning. Over the last two years, Derrick has leveraged this diverse skillset and unique perspective to teach organizations how to capitalize on their data to develop sustainable, competitive advantages.
