Learn What to Do Now to Set Yourself Up for Year-End Success
During our 1099 webinar in December, we covered the change of 1099-K reporting requirements. The change that we described for tax year 2022, involved Third-Party Settlement Organizations (TPSOs) and would have lowered the 1099 threshold to $600 for the year. On December 23rd, the IRS released an update that delayed this change until tax year 2023.
The announcement is linked here.
With this change, the 1099-K reporting threshold remains at $20,000 and 200 transactions for tax year 2022.
