Sue’s passion is guiding closely held companies. She is relied upon to identify, direct and implement structures, policies, procedures and programs to drive strategic outcomes. With over 25 years of C-suite corporate and financial management experience, she is a trusted advisor recognized for her retail, ecommerce, warehousing and distribution experience, leadership skills and emotional intelligence with an intuitive ability to ask the right questions and bring out the best in others.
Prior to joining Armanino, Sue worked as CFO in the retail sporting goods industry. Working in a fast-paced growth orientated industry, she led the turn-around strategy for a distressed business acquired, implementing operational changes resulting in a 15% reduction in direct operating expenses. In addition, during her tenure retail store locations increased by 450%, resulting in a CAGR of 30%.
Her experience in retail includes selling to consumers via brick-and-mortar locations, company operated websites and on third-party marketplaces (i.e., Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Target, Overstock and Wish).
Sue is proficient with the following ERP systems: Microsoft GP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Business Central, NetSuite and NetSuite One World, Sage Intacct and QuickBooks Online and Enterprise versions.
