Q&A
Q. What is it about accounting and consulting that first drew your interest?
It was definitely the opportunity to be a problem solver and create great outcomes for clients. I’m tasked with navigating critical situations and it’s exciting to provide solutions to big challenges.
Q. Make a prediction and describe your vision of the future of the general business environment for your area of expertise or the industries you serve.
Both the pace of change and the amount of change that business leaders face will continue to increase. It’s going to come from all angles: macroeconomic, geopolitical and technology. The best leaders will turn to trusted advisors who can help them keep their businesses competitive amongst all this disruption. What excites me most is our opportunity to help clients with this tremendous pace of change.
Q. Without naming names, tell us about your favorite client and why you enjoyed working with them.
My favorite clients are ones who create an atmosphere that encourages us to challenge each other to identify the best solutions, and do so with a “positive tension.” A lot of our work requires tough decisions and critical deadlines, so humor and levity are needed. I love clients who can pepper in some laughter and fun for those long days and late nights during crunch time.
Q. What keeps you up at night?
Nothing keeps me up at night because I leave it all on the field. I give my all every day and have no regrets.
Q. Describe your work style.
Engaged, fast-paced but thoughtful.
Q. What’s your proudest moment?
Seeing my kids succeed in the things that they do well.
