Q&A

Q. What do you predict the future will look like for clients in the industries you serve?

The predictable thing is that there is always disruption in the market. In my experience, clients who are well capitalized and have good management can take advantage of opportunities that come their way. In a market that’s becoming increasingly complex, we position clients to leverage their resources and benefit from profitable transactions.

Q. Without naming names, tell us about your favorite client and why you enjoyed working with them.

My favorite client is someone I’ve known since I was 35. I admire their ability to deal with problems and to front issues head on. No matter what is happening, they have a way of working together and adapting to a changing environment, so we always leave the table with proposed solutions.

Q. Describe your work style.

I keep a big-picture perspective that allows me to focus on the significant issues without letting the unimportant get in the way. This helps me and my team move forward and to find the best solutions for our clients.

Q. What’s your proudest moment?

If I had to choose one moment, it would be getting married, because that led to raising our children and brought me so much joy. As a family, we’re all here to help each other grow and adapt to change. I think that’s what being a family is all about — supporting each other in the different stages of our lives.

Q. If you could pass on a nugget of wisdom to aspiring accountants or consultants, what would that be?

Growing your network is a lifelong pursuit that allows you to expand your connections and develop your career. It’s very rewarding to share your professional journey with others.
