Bio
Matt has more than a decade of experience in public accounting. He takes pride in providing individualized accounting and tax consulting to his clients, while also offering planning and compliance services.
His multi-industry expertise makes Matt a valuable consultant to small and medium-sized firms in need of outsourced tax and accounting help. He keeps businesses profitable by helping them make the right decisions at the right times. Working with startups to consolidated enterprises, Matt supports business owners and their teams.
Prior to joining Armanino, Matt served as principal for Brown Smith Wallace’s Entrepreneurial Services group. He received a B.S. in personal financial planning from the University of Missouri.

For me, it’s very rewarding to support those entrepreneurs who invest all their money into their business. I like helping them grow and knowing that I’m part of that success.
I’m one of those hard workers who turns over every stone, covers all their bases and exhausts every possible option to help the client. I’m a determined person who always wants to find the best result for my clients.
My dad. He started his accounting firm on the day that I was born. As a business owner, he had to work late hours to provide for us. He was an example of hard work and determination. And somehow, he also managed to always be there for our sporting events and all the important moments.
