Q&A

Q. What is it about the accounting or consulting profession that first drew your interest?
Everything about business has always fascinated me, and accounting gave me the tools to provide value throughout the business community at large. It’s given me an opportunity to positively impact all different kinds of businesses and people.
Q. Make a prediction; describe your vision of the future of the general business environment.
We’re seeing a lot of demographic change, particularly where I am here in Orange County. I expect to see more construction, more multi-family housing properties, and I think that also means more affordable housing. I see a lot of opportunities for investors and businesses who can benefit from serving a more diverse population as urban development continues.
Q. Without naming names, tell us about your favorite client and why you enjoyed working with them.
I love working with entrepreneurs who take calculated risks and grow businesses, care about the people in their organizations and make an effort to ensure the success of their business benefits all stakeholders. These are great people to work with.
Q. Describe your work style.
I’m both thorough and collaborative. I rely on my team members, while providing the necessary oversight to ensure every “t” is crossed.
Q. What’s your proudest moment?
The birth of my daughter. My wife and I were married for 17 years before having her, and it was a great life-changing experience.
