Firm’s 2019 Volunteer Vacations Set to Assist in Thailand, Florida, Oregon and Catalina Island

SAN RAMON, Calif. (Oct. 30, 2018) Armanino LLP, one of the top 25 largest accounting and business consulting firms in the U.S., today announced its philanthropic giving arm, the Armanino Foundation, has raised a total of $500,000 as it marks its two-year anniversary of overall operation. The Foundation also announced its list of selected charitable organizations for its Q3 grant disbursement and 2019 Volunteer Vacation projects.

“We are excited to announce the progress we’ve made just in time to celebrate our two-year anniversary,” said Andy Armanino, managing partner of Armanino LLP. “The list of this quarter’s grant beneficiaries includes a diverse group of worthy organizations nominated and hand-selected by our staff. The Armanino Foundation continues to be an extension of our values as a firm that allows us to give back to organizations that make a positive impact on our communities.”

Volunteer Vacations are sponsored trips for firm staff to work on a range of community projects, such as environmental cleanup, disaster recovery and programs for children, seniors and other vulnerable groups. Next year, firm staff will have the option of teaching English to children in Thailand, operating a family resort in Florida for children with life-threatening illnesses, and completing conservation efforts at Camassia Natural Area in Oregon and Catalina Island Conservancy near Los Angeles.
